Artistic Roller Skating in Jersey
Welcome to Regent Skating Club
The club came into being when the first roller rink was introduced at Fort Regent back in 1979. These day the clubs main home is Les Quennevais Sports Centre although from time to time classes still take place at the Fort.
Artistic roller skating is a sport similar to figure skating but where competitors run on roller skates (quad) instead of ice skates.
Regent Skating Club aims to provide a safe environment for anyone wishing to learn artistic roller skating. Progress is monitored through national proficiency tests and once skaters are competent enough, if they want to, they can start to compete in UK National competitions.

The Clubs Annual Competition was once again a great success. From the youngest bunnies through to returning veterans great fun was had by all. Finally getting around to reshaping and updating the club website. Over the next couple of weeks we will be adding some new galleries, bios of our club coaches and now that the blog is working we will be able to keep you informed of upcoming competitions and other events.
Demand for new members can be relatively high at times and sometimes the club does operate a waiting list.
